Lauren paints intuitively and with the invitation of greater presence to structure her work. She witnesses colors, shapes and stories emerge by attunement, and paints through a position of flow, listening and openness. It is a relational creation, where Lauren and her paintings often go through periods of pauses, new turns, new layers, and both adding and removing in freedom of each touch and stroke. TENDER THREADS was created within the context of academic research about digitality (machine learning, “AI”, social media) and existential health. It is a crafting process which highlights undercurrents of awareness and makes shared wisdom clear for Co-Creators to move with.
